MEET ALMA
A sisterhood of strength and soul.
ALMA is a faith-rooted community for women of all ages who have experienced the loss of a spouse. Created from lived experience and the understanding that life after loss can feel deeply unfamiliar, ALMA is a place to find care, connection and practical support in ways that feel gentle, meaningful and real.
Here, there is no right way to grieve and no timeline to follow. Some days may call for guidance, a trusted contact or a useful resource. Other days, it may simply help to know that there are other women who understand.
We are building a safe place and sisterhood where women can connect, share, find support and feel less alone. Through our resources, gatherings and growing community, we hope to make space for friendship, encouragement and practical help along the way.
ALMA is rooted in faith and held with compassion, for every woman finding her way through life after loss.
The Women Behind ALMA
ALMA was created by three women whose lives were changed by the loss of their spouses.
In the midst of trying to find their own way through grief, they found comfort in one another in being able to speak honestly, share what they were carrying, and feel understood without needing to explain every part of the journey.
That shared understanding became the heart of ALMA: a place where women can find gentle support, meaningful connection and a sisterhood that reminds them they do not have to walk this path alone.
We are building ALMA with love, care and faith, one conversation, one gathering and one sister at a time.
